Hall

The large hall overlooking the square, unique in its kind for the breath given by the double-height ceiling, and the beauty of the decorations. It can host a wedding banquet for 100 people.

It can host a wedding banquet for 100 people. As reported in the family archive, in 1740 the hall’s wall were richly decorated with soft colors stuccos in shades of green and pink, in which center today are displayed ancestors portraits.

The ceiling is in Sansovina Style and the beams are embellished with application in gilded wood. In the center of the ceiling, a large Murano glass chandelier illuminates the room.

At the top of the large solid wooden door stands the coat of arms of the lords of Maniago, flanked by spears and flags.

On the hall’s side, there are 3 smaller rooms, decorated with stuccos of different shapes and colors to embellish walls and ceilings, the windows all overlook Piazza Italia. The last room boasts a splendid gilded coffered ceiling with scenes from classical mythology.

The last two rooms are la Galleria and la Sala degli Armadi: la Galleria owes its name to this elongated shaper, it overlooks the gardens and its walls have been frescoed with a band bearing, coupled, the coats of arms of the di Maniago and the of the family they have intermarried with over the centuries.

La sala degli armadi was the room were the Palazzo’s linens were kept and where the large eighteenth-century wardrobes are still located on the walls.
